The Return Of Mookie

So, we bust our military ass in Iraq, to the tune of thousands of lives and hundreds of billions of dollars, just to watch U.S. troop killing freak Moqtada al-Sadr waltz back into Iraq, to a hero’s welcome, after four years of hiding in Iran to avoid an arrest warrant, as part of the Iraqi government? Who won the Iraq war anyway, Iran?

Radical cleric al-Sadr returns to Iraq

A radical anti-American cleric whose supporters once led armed uprisings against U.S. forces in Iraq has returned to the country after spending time in Iran.
The return of Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr comes as Iraq’s new government is just getting its footing and at a time when U.S. forces are preparing to withdraw from the country.

. . .

Ryan Crocker, a former ambassador to Iraq and now at Texas A&M University, said al-Sadr would not be in a position to return to violence. Al-Sadr once controlled a militia of thousands that challenged the authority of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki but wound up being beaten down by Iraqi and U.S. forces.

“I assume he is not going back to start standing up militias,” Crocker said. “If he does, he’s not going to last very long.” Crocker said al-Maliki would not allow it.

Al-Sadr received a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Najaf, where he visited the shrine of Imam Ali. It is not clear whether al-Sadr is planning on staying in Iraq. “To say the least, he is a mercurial personality,” Crocker said.

Al-Sadr is returning to Iraq as the Iraqi government will confront some key issues about continued U.S. presence in Iraq. All U.S. forces will have left Iraq by the end of this year under the terms of a security agreement between the two countries.

I’m stunned, everyone’s just going to sit back and let this illiterate, criminal Iranian puppet return to Iraq and join the Iraqi government, after all the people he’s killed? Unbelievable!

ACLU And CCR Heart Anwar Al-Awlaki

As usual, the ACLU and CCR are defending the enemies of the United States. Has there ever been a terrorist they didn’t like? This time, they’re upset about “targeted killing”, you know, killing enemy combatants during wartime, what a novel concept, never before seen in the history of warfare.

Anwar al-Awlaki: ACLU wants militant cleric taken off US ‘kill list’

Two US civil rights groups are asking a federal judge to halt an alleged Obama administration plan to kill an American citizen believed to be allied with Al Qaeda and hiding in Yemen.

The Center for Constitutional Rights and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed the lawsuit Monday in Washington. It asks US District Judge John Bates to order the government not to carry out the alleged plot to conduct a targeted killing of Anwar al-Awlaki.

Mr. Awlaki is a militant Islamic lecturer who used the Internet to spread the ideology of Al Qaeda. Born in the US and educated at American colleges, Awlaki has provided a bridge between militants overseas and some radical Muslims based in the US.

He is reported to have encouraged Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan. He allegedly helped train Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who has been charged with attempting to blow up an airliner on Christmas Day, and is said to have inspired would-be Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad.

According to the lawsuit, US officials placed Awlaki’s name on a “kill list” in early 2010. The suit says that American officials are using secret criteria to determine who goes on the list.

The evidence is overwhelming that Anwar al-Awlaki is a self-confessed al Qaeda operative with American blood on his hands, also known as a sworn enemy of the United States. Al-Awlaki puts out his own internet videos professing as much! As an enemy combatant on the global battlefield, he’s entitled to a bullet in the head, not his Fourth Amendment rights.

Why Does Obama Hate Jews?

Remember this?

So, Obama has no problem being photographed getting chummy with Hugo Chavez, one of the most anti-American, anti-Semitic socialist dictators in the world. And yet he treats Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, one of America’s staunchest allies, like a disease, refusing to be photographed with him, hold a joint press conference, or even release a written public statement. What’s wrong with Barack Obama?

Binyamin Netanyahu humiliated after Barack Obama ‘dumped him for dinner’

For a head of government to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of. Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip viewed in Jerusalem as a humiliation.

After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisers and “let me know if there is anything new”, a US congressman, who spoke to the Prime Minister, said.

“It was awful,” the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting “a hazing in stages”, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House telephone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received “the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea”.

Left to talk among themselves Mr Netanyahu and his aides retreated to the Roosevelt Room. He spent a further half-hour with Mr Obama and extended his stay for a day of emergency talks to try to restart peace negotiations. However, he left last night with no official statement from either side. He returned to Israel yesterday isolated after what Israeli media have called a White House ambush for which he is largely to blame.

How can anyone explain Obama’s reprehensible behavior, treating the Israeli Prime Minister with utter contempt and barring any press coverage whatsoever, as opposed to gleefully glad handing the notoriously anti-Semitic Venezuelan dictator in front of the world’s cameras?

Don’t bother calling Obama, he won’t pick up the phone.
