Achmed, Tell Them What They’ve Won!

Most radio stations, when they have a contest, give out prizes like cash or concert tickets or maybe even a trip, but no, not the bloodthirsty Muslim jihadis, they bring the concept of radio contest prizes to a whole different level.

Al-Shabab radio gives weapons prize to Somali children

A radio station run by Somalia’s al-Shabab Islamist group has awarded weapons to children who won a Koran-reciting and general knowledge contest.

Andulus radio, based near Mogadishu, gave the group which won first prize in the Ramadan competition an AK-47 rifle and the equivalent of $700 (£450).

The second prize-winners received an AK-47 and $500, while the third prize was two hand grenades and $400.

Al-Shabab, linked to al-Qaeda, controls much of southern and central Somalia.

It worth noting that these weapons “prizes” were awarded to the children for reciting a Muslim religious text, the Koran, during a Muslim religious holiday, Ramadan. There’s nothing like giving deadly weapons to children for demonstrating religious prowess during a religious holiday. What manner of [expletive deleted] up religion condones that?

/nevermind, that was a rhetorical question, once again, Islam proves itself to be the religion of mayhem and mass murder, brainwashing each new generation of children into the bloody cult of violent Jihad as young as possible

Terror plot against New York synagogue busted

Two men suspected of planning an attack on a Manhattan synagogue with guns and a grenade were arrested Wednesday, marking the end of a seven-month undercover operation by New York police officers.

The suspects, Ahmed Ferhani and Mohamed Mamdouh, were detained in midtown Manhattan after buying two loaded Browning semi-automatic pistols, one Smith & Wesson revolver, ammunition and a grenade, according to Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.

. . .

Both men’s voices were captured on audio recordings plotting the attacks, District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. said, but they had not selected which synagogue to target.

Neither man has been charged in connection with a terrorist cell. Both, however, were allegedly “committed to violent jihad,” telling police that they wanted to kill Jewish people and also hoped to attack New York’s Empire State Building, Vance said.

It’s just another day in the ongoing global jihad. They caught these two, but there’s millions more bloodthirsty Muslims worldwide, willing and wanting to act out violently on their ingrained, brainwashed, taught from birth, Islamic hatred of Jews and infidels.

/once again, remember, not all Muslims are terrorists, but 99% of terrorists are Muslim

Onward Cartoon Jihadis, Plotting As To Kill

Unbelievable, it’s been five years since the original Mohammed cartoons were first published, more than 50 people, almost all of them Muslims, have died as a result, and these brainwashed, Islamic Jihadi murderbots still want to kill even more innocent people in the name of their, ever so peaceful, death cult that they insanely refer to as a religion.

Five suspects arrested over Danish cartoon ‘massacre plot’

Danish and Swedish police said yesterday they had foiled a potentially devastating terrorist attack after arresting five suspected Islamic militants who wanted to “kill as many people as possible” in the offices of a Copenhagen newspaper that published cartoons of the Prophet Mohamed.

Denmark’s intelligence service said it arrested four men in two raids in the suburbs of the capital and seized an automatic weapon, a silencer and live ammunition. Swedish police said they arrested the fifth suspect, a 37-year-old Swedish citizen of Tunisian origin who was living in Stockholm.

Lars Barfoed, the Danish Justice Minister, described the plot as “outrageous” and “terrifying” and said it was the “most serious attempt at terror” ever witnessed in Denmark.

Jakob Scharf, the head of Denmark’s intelligence service, told reporters that the militants had apparently planned to storm the Copenhagen offices of Denmark’s Jyllands-Posten newspaper, which published the controversial Mohamed cartoons in 2005. Once inside, they planned to fire automatic weapons at random, he said.

“They wanted to kill as many of the people present as possible,” Mr Scharf said, adding that “an imminent terror attack” had been foiled. He described the suspects as “militant Islamic activists with relations to international terror networks”. He said more arrests were possible.

The intelligence services arrested a 44-year-old Tunisian, a 29-year-old Lebanese-born man and a 30-year-old who were living in Sweden and had entered Denmark late Tuesday or early yesterday. The fourth person detained was a 26-year-old Iraqi asylum-seeker living in Copenhagen.

If This Is Monday, It Must Be Jihadi Time

Is it just me or is there a pattern emerging involving a certain religion and terrorism?

New Jersey Men Arraigned On Terror Charges

Shortly after two New Jersey men were arraigned Monday on terror-related charges in Newark, N.J., Paul J. Fishman paused briefly on the steps of the U.S. District Courthouse in Newark. The top federal prosecutor in the state conceded that once again they had been lucky, this time with a pair of bumblers who allegedly pledged for jihad in Somalia but were being shadowed for years by FBI agents.

Indeed, it marked the third time in six months that terrorists were tripped up by their own ineptness.

But, Fishman said, “sophistication is not necessarily a measure of danger.” And, he warned, “we would be remiss if we didn’t pay attention to anyone who has the intention of do what these folks are alleged to have done.”

Mohamed Mahmood Alessa, 20, and 24-year-old Carlos Almonte, also known as Omar, were arrested Saturday night at JFK Airport in New York, reportedly hoping to join an extremist group in Somalia linked to the terror network Al Qaeda.

But they never had a chance. For three and a half years FBI agents followed their tiny cell in the New Jersey suburbs, sending an undercover operative in who even at one point won their approval to search their computer. It turned up documents promoting Osama bin Laden and violent jihad. And still, the FBI said, the young men continued to boast and train and arm themselves for war.

Another Day, Another Three Homegrown Jihadis

Of course, they’re only doing what good, devout Muslims do, promote terrorism and the global jihad. Unfortunately for them, providing material support to other Islamists, for the purpose of killing Jews and Infidels, Islamic activities sanctioned by the Koran, is against U.S. law, not that they believe they’re subject to U.S. law or anything other than Sharia.

First up, we have this lovely Jihadi couple from Ohio.

Ohio couple arrested on terror conspiracy charges

A couple were arrested Thursday on charges they conspired to provide thousands of dollars to a Mideast terrorist group, federal authorities said.

Hor Akl and his wife, Amera Akl, were taken into custody after an FBI informant provided them with $200,000 in cash, which they were preparing to hide in a vehicle that was to be shipped to Lebanon, prosecutors said.

The Akls planned to conceal up to $500,000 so the money could be given to Hezbollah on behalf of anonymous donors in the United States, a court complaint said.

The U.S. government lists Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and blames it for numerous attacks on Israel. Hezbollah has been trying to reinvent itself as a more conventional political movement in Lebanon.

The Akls, both 37 years old, face numerous charges, including conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, which carries a maximum sentence of up 15 years in prison and a fine of $500,000 upon conviction.

Hempstead Man Charged With Supporting Al Qaeda

A Hempstead man is charged with supporting a terrorist organization in the Arabian Peninsula.

Barry Walter Bujol Jr., an American citizen, is accused of providing material support to Al Qaeda as well as aggravated identity theft.

Investigators say Bujol, 29, provided money, pre-paid telephone calling cards, mobile telephone SIM cards, GPS receivers, and military information about unmanned aerial vehicle operations and military weapon systems.

An investigation, started in 2009, revealed Bujol was in contact with Anwar al-Aulaqi, a known associate and propagandist for Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

Bujol repeatedly told an FBI informant that he wished to fight alongside Al Qaeda in a violent jihad and attempted to travel to Yemen or the Middle East according to court documents.

Bujol was arrested on May 30 when he boarded a ship with intent to deliver materials to Al Qaeda in the Middle East, investigators say.

If convicted, Bujol faces up to 15 years in prison for the supporting terrorism charge and an additional five years for the aggravated identity theft charge.

It goes without saying that for every one of these homegrown Muslim jihadists the FBI runs to ground, there’s probably at least a dozen more running loose, plotting murder and mayhem in the name of Allah.

/where are all the rumored “moderate Muslims”, rising up with a coherent, united voice to emphatically denounce this growing and ongoing threat to Western civilization in the name of Islam, do moderate Muslims even exist?

The Continuing Adventures Of The Religion Of Murder And Mayhem

As usual, it’s still all about killing over cartoons.

Irish arrests over ‘plot to kill Swedish cartoonist’

Seven people have been arrested in the Irish Republic over an alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist for depicting the Prophet Muhammad, police say.

The four men and three women are all Muslim immigrants, according to media reports, though a police statement did not confirm this.

Cartoonist Lars Vilks had depicted the Prophet Muhammad with the body of a dog in the Nerikes Allehanda newspaper.

Islamic militants put a $100,000 (£67,000) bounty on his head.

Mr Vilks was quoted as saying he was unfazed by the arrests, which he said he thought could be linked to two death threats he had received by telephone in January.

‘Slaughter’ bonus

Irish police said the seven suspects were arrested after an investigation into a “conspiracy to murder an individual in another jurisdiction”, a probe that also involved police in the US and other European countries.

The suspects ranged in age from their mid-20s to late-40s.

Ireland’s RTE news network reported that five were detained in Waterford and two others in Cork.

RTE said those in custody were originally refugees from Morocco and Yemen, but had gained asylum and were in the Republic of Ireland legally.

Mr Vilks has been under police protection in Sweden since threats were made against his life.

“I’m not shaking with fear, exactly,” he told Swedish news agency TT after Tuesday’s arrests.

“I have prepared in different ways and I have an axe here in case someone should manage to get in through the window.”

In 2007 a group linked to al-Qaeda in Iraq offered a $100,000 reward for killing Mr Vilks, and a 50% bonus if he was “slaughtered like a lamb” by having his throat cut.

Montco woman accused of helping terrorists

A woman from Montgomery County who used the online nickname of “JihadJane” has been indicted for conspiring to provide support to Islamic terrorists with whom she allegedly plotted to kill a Swedish artist.

Prosecutors accused Colleen R. LaRose, 46, of emailing terrorists sympathizers and offering to use her American looks and identity to carry out an attack. She was arrested last October but her incarceration was kept secret until today.

American and foreign governments used the time to sweep up a terrorist network in Ireland, according to news media in that country. The Irish Times said seven men, most from other nations, were arrested as part of a plot to murder a Swedish artist who drew a controversial image of the Prophet Muhammad.

Two American officials told the Inquirer that LaRose’s arrest was connected to the Irish investigation and planned attack in Sweden.

LaRose was arrested at Philadelphia International Airport when she stepped off a plane from Europe in October. Her internet postings sympathetic to radical jihad attracted the FBI’s attention.

American officials say LaRose, who is divorced, lived in Texas before moving to the Philadelphia area in 2004. A white woman of slight build, LaRose has no known occupation.

LaRose lived in a Pennsburg apartment building, attached to a post office, when FBI agents started their investigation last fall.

She is accused of recruiting women online to travel to Europe “in support of violent jihad,” the indictment says.

The court document quotes email messages in which LaRose, who also used the online name “Fatima LaRose,” as telling a South Asian man that her appearance would allow her to “blend in with many people.”

She later received a “direct order” to kill a citizen of Sweden, identified as Lars Vilks.

LaRose is accused of writing this email: “i will make this my goal till i achieve it or die trying.”

It’s Okay, It’s Just Jihad, Not Terrorism

Va. suspects in Pakistan say mission was jihad not terrorism

Five men arrested in Pakistan indicated Monday that they plan to fight terrorism charges that Pakistani police are recommending by using a strategy seen in U.S. courtrooms: that they were preparing for jihad but not planning any terror attacks.

The men told a Pakistani court that they had neither sought nor established contact with extremist groups, and traveled to the region only “to help the helpless Muslims,” according to their Pakistani attorney. As they entered the courtroom, one of the men, Ramy Zamzam, told reporters: “We are not terrorists. We are jihadists, and jihad is not terrorism.”

No charges were filed during the hearing in Sargodha, but Pakistani police said their formal recommendation that the men be charged under anti-terrorism laws — and sentenced to life in prison — would be filed by Tuesday. A judge would decide whether to prosecute the five Americans, who are due back in court on Jan. 18.

The men, all from the Alexandria area, left the United States shortly after Thanksgiving without telling their parents, who alerted the FBI. They were arrested Dec. 8 at the family home of Khalid Farooq Chaudhry, the father of one of the men, Umar Chaudhry. The elder Chaudhry was released from custody on Monday by the judge because of insufficient evidence against him, officials said.

Pakistani police say the men were in contact with a Taliban recruiter, were seeking to join al-Qaeda and came to Pakistan to carry out terrorist acts. The FBI is also investigating the men, and officials have said the Justice Department is likely to consider charges in the United States.
