Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood holds anti-Semetic rally, draws thousands at Cairo’s top mosque vowing to ‘one day kill all the Jews’

A Muslim revival at Cairo’s most prominent mosque Friday that drew 5,000 worshippers reportedly turned into a hate-fueled rally, complete with repeated vows to “one day kill all the Jews.”

Led by the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt’s largest and best-organized political party, the crowd that gathered at the al-Azhar Mosque chanted “Tel Aviv! Tel Aviv! Judgment Day has come!” according to Israeli website Ynetnews.com.

Palestinian guest speakers and spokesmen for the Muslim Brotherhood roused the crowd with speeches aiming to incite Jihad directed at Israel, specifically promoting a “battle against Jerusalem’s Judaization.”

Call Mubarak a dictator, a thug, call him whatever you want, at least he was able to keep a lid on the Muslim Brotherhood and, for the most part, order in the streets. What Egypt has now is rioting in the streets and the Muslim Brotherhood openly advocating genocide against the Jews.

Partners In Peace

These are the lovely people Israel is supposed give up land to for peace.

Haniyeh on Nakba Day: Pray for an end to Israel

Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh spoke to Muslim worshipers on Sunday morning, telling them to pray for an end to Israel.

“Palestinians mark the Nakba with great hope of bringing to an end the Zionist project in Palestine,” Haniyeh told 10,000 people at Gaza City’s al-Omari mosque, AP reported.

“To achieve our goals in the liberation of our occupied land, we should have one leadership,” he reportedly said, praising the recent unity accord between Hamas and Fatah.

Haniyeh added that Hamas would not recognize Israel.

Add Hornet’s Nest, Stir

So, do you think it’s a coincidence that all these Muslim countries suddenly descended into open street unrest all at once? Guess again, it’s a coordinated transnational effort by dedicated, hardcore Islamists to press for the Caliphate, destroy Israel, and defeat the West. As much as the West tries to downplay or ignore these recent developments, rest assured, Muslims worldwide are sitting up, paying attention, and drawing inspiration.

Iran: Riots sign of Islamic awakening

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, says recent anti-government riots in Tunisia and Egypt are “a sign of the awakening of Islam inspired by the Islamic Revolution’s victory in Iran.”

In a sermon delivered Friday morning at a Tehran mosque, Khamenei said that “the Americans and Zionists are more concerned than anyone else about the situation in Egypt, but they are helpless and will not succeed in finding a remedy for the situation.”

He accused Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak of “cooperating with the Zionists” and helping Israel impose its siege on the Gaza Strip.

. . .

The Iranian supreme leader said the events in Egypt would have far-reaching implication on the entire Middle East. “This is an earthquake, and if the Egyptian people carry on they will defeat the American policy in the region. The Zionist enemies are more concerned than anyone else, as they are aware of what might happen if Egypt cut off the alliance with them.”

Will Islam sweep the globe and establish a Caliphate in the next two weeks? No, but they’re off to a pretty good start in the last month, don’t you think? Remember, they have a much longer time horizon than we do, they live by incremental steps towards their goals.

You don’t think they’re serious or capable of achieving their goals? Remember, they’re already seriously affecting our transportation regime, have you tried to fly recently? Remember the 1979 Iran revolution, the Islamic regime on the brink of becoming a nuclear power today? We’re still paying in blood and national treasure for that one.

Islam has always had a long term plan for world domination and the establishment of a Caliphate and it’s as old as time, well at least as far back as the 7th century. Dar al-Harb (House of war) and Dar al-Islam (House of Islam).

You’ve been warned.

All He Wanted For Christmas Was Jihad

Anyone see what the problem is here? Antonio Martinez was a normal, peaceful young adult . . . until he converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Hussain. Then he suddenly became a hate filled jihadi monster, obsessed with killing infidels, in other words, a typical, devout Muslim.

Man charged in bomb plot appeared to drift into Islamic extremism

Not so long ago, the young man accused of plotting to blow up a military recruiting station in Catonsville had a mundane job: selling children’s clothes at Columbia Mall.

When he was hired as a sales associate about a year ago, Antonio Martinez was polite, hardworking — and a newly baptized Christian, a former co-worker recalled Wednesday. He seemed like a typical young adult working a typical retail job.

Then one day he surprised co-workers by declaring that he had converted to Islam.

“Within a few weeks he has a floor mat down in the back room praying to Mecca, telling us he’s going to a mosque and converting to Islam,” the former colleague said. She insisted on anonymity because she is not authorized by her employer to speak publicly and because she fears for her family’s safety.

The sudden change of faith is among the many mysteries surrounding Martinez, 21, who is also known as Muhammad Hussain. He was charged Wednesday with attempting to detonate what he thought was a vehicle bomb at the Armed Forces Career Center in the 5400 block of Baltimore National Pike.

For reasons that remain shrouded, federal authorities say Martinez not only embraced Islam recently but grabbed hold of a radical interpretation of the religion — one that exalts violence against adherents of other faiths as a righteous path to glory.

Why is it that all the miscreants that get caught trying to blow up their fellow Americans turn out to be Muslims? Nevermind, that was a rhetorical question, Islam is a bloody, murderous, misogynistic religion, stuck in the 7th century, that commands its adherents to kill.

You Don’t Have To Like It, You Just Have To Pay For It

It’s bad enough that these slumlord scofflaw Islamists are trying to build a 9/11 victory lap mosque as close to Ground Zero as possible, but now they’re asking American taxpayers, 70% of whom oppose building the mosque near Ground Zero, to help pay for it. What unmitigated gall! Talk about rubbing salt into an open wound, they’re really trying to stick it to the dirty kuffar with this obscene gesture.

Park51 developers apply for $5M federal grant, outraging opponents of mosque near Ground Zero

Developers of a mosque near Ground Zero are fanning a new flame of controversy by applying for a $5 million federal grant reserved for the redevelopment of lower Manhattan.

“I think it’s an insult to the 9/11 families. It’s another smack in the face,” said retired FDNY Deputy Chief Jim Riches, whose 29-year-old son, Jim, a firefighter, was killed on 9/11.

“I think it’s becoming more and more comical,” he said of the latest twist over the proposed 13-story Islamic community center and mosque. “Now we’re going to have to pay for it.”

Sharif El-Gamal, developer of the proposed Park Place project, confirmed his group has applied for the Lower Manhattan Development Corp. grant.

Sharif El-Gamal, developer of Ground Zero mosque, evicted from SoHo office for racking up back rent

The developer of the Ground Zero mosque is being bounced from his SoHo office, the Daily News has learned.

Sharif El-Gamal, who runs the real estate firm Soho Properties and is heading the project two blocks from Ground Zero, was slapped with eviction proceedings last month after tallying up $39,000 in back rent, a Manhattan Housing Court filing shows.

The management company that runs 552 Broadway, where El-Gamal leases space, said in the filing that he was warned in July and given until mid-August to pay up.

But when the August deadline passed, management company Royal Crospin Corp. filed the eviction notice.

It’s not the first time El-Gamal’s company has fallen behind in rent.

Union City mayor heaps scorn on imam for being ‘slumlord’

Union City Mayor Brian Stack branded the imam proposing to build an Islamic cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero one of the worst landlords in Union City at a press conference yesterday, according to today’s Jersey Journal.

The press conference – held in front of 2206 Central Ave., a 16-unit building owned by Feisal Abdul Rauf – comes on the heels of a lawsuit against Rauf the city filed in Hudson County Superior Court on Monday.

“I think we are trying to send a message here, not only to Rauf but also to other slumlords, that in Union City you are not welcomed here,” Stack said.

Associate of NYC Mosque Imam Calls 9/11 Attacks an ‘Inside Job’

A founding member of an organization run by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the driving force behind the planned mosque near Ground Zero, claims that the 9/11 attacks were an “inside job” and that Muslims have been made scapegoats, The Post has learned.

Faiz Khan — who has preached at least twice at the former Burlington Coat Factory building, the site of the proposed mosque — was for years Rauf’s partner in the American Society for the Advancement of Muslims, which is dedicated to promoting a better understanding of Islam.

Khan also serves on the advisory board of Muslims for 9/11 Truth and is a founder of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth, known as MUJCA.

On MUJCA’s Web site, Khan wrote that “the inescapable fact [is] that 9/11 was an inside job.”

This whole “mosque controversy” is starting to smell like a barrel of rotten fish. Seriously, the Three Stooges here are way out there in the shadows of the fringe, already barely one step ahead of the law themselves. Where the hell are these clowns going to get $100 million to build a 13 story “Islamic community center”? It looks more and more like this this is nothing more than an elaborate scam.

Imam Rauf May Never Have Intended to Build Ground Zero Mosque

The imam of the Ground Zero mosque may never have had any real intention to follow through with building it. Terrorists and radicals can be very smart, calculating people, and it is certainly possible that this was actually a well-orchestrated plan meant to rile up and recruit more radicals willing to undermine America, at very little cost. That may explain why he has not even begun to raise money for this project.

. . .

This entire situation has been created by this imam, by his insisting that a mosque be built so close to Ground Zero. Given his radical statements, his veiled threats of violence and aggression against Americans if the mosque is not built at Ground Zero, and the fact that the imam has raised virtually nothing to pay for the center, it seems that there may never have been any real intention to follow through with its building. The radicals get much more out of the mosque not being built than if it is built. The radicals can now use the fact that many Americans are against building the mosque to recruit more zealots to mount campaigns against America, and even to try to carry out violent attacks.

Now it all makes sense, certainly a lot more sense than this Ground Zero mosque project actually ever being built by these three Islamic losers.

‘Personal dispute’ erupts into deadly battle

A SENIOR member of the radical Shiite movement Hezbollah has died in a street battle involving machineguns and rocket-propelled grenades in Beirut.

The clash, lasting around four hours, was the worst outbreak of violence in the Lebanese capital since May 2008, when about 100 people were killed in a power struggle between Hezbollah and the ruling Sunni coalition.

Three people were killed and several were wounded in the latest fighting which took place in a quiet neighbourhood a few blocks from the city centre.

Soldiers cordoned off the area during the worst of the fighting, but witnesses said sniper fire and blasts from the rocket-propelled grenades were audible until well after 11pm on Tuesday.

Gunmen stood on corners peering down alleys while families ran for cover during lulls in the fighting.

Ambulances rushed to the scene; an elderly man, clutching his neck, was placed on a stretcher, while another man was covered in blood and not moving.

The shootout erupted between the Shiite Hezbollah and the Sunni al-Ahbash group following a fight outside a mosque in the mixed residential area of Bourj Abu Haidar, Lebanese officials said.

A joint statement issued later by the two groups said the incident resulted from a ”personal dispute and has no political or sectarian background”.

It said the two sides agreed to put an end to their differences and end all armed presence on the street.

The government said Mohammed Fawaz, a Hezbollah official from the area, and his aide, Munzer Hadi, were killed along with Fawaz Omeirat of al-Ahbash.

Yes They Can, But No They Shouldn’t

At first, Obama confidently wades into the Ground Zero mosque controversy with carefully scripted remarks to a Muslim audience.

And then, the next day, after seeing the gap down in his approval poll numbers, Obama and his administration frantically tried to walk back his initial comments.

As usual, Charles Krauthammer nails it.

Sacrilege at Ground Zero

Location matters. Especially this location. Ground Zero is the site of the greatest mass murder in American history — perpetrated by Muslims of a particular Islamist orthodoxy in whose cause they died and in whose name they killed.

Of course that strain represents only a minority of Muslims. Islam is no more intrinsically Islamist than present-day Germany is Nazi — yet despite contemporary Germany’s innocence, no German of goodwill would even think of proposing a German cultural center at, say, Treblinka.

Which makes you wonder about the goodwill behind Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s proposal. This is a man who has called U.S. policy “an accessory to the crime” of 9/11 and, when recently asked whether Hamas is a terrorist organization, replied, “I’m not a politician. . . . The issue of terrorism is a very complex question.”

America is a free country where you can build whatever you want — but not anywhere. That’s why we have zoning laws. No liquor store near a school, no strip malls where they offend local sensibilities, and, if your house doesn’t meet community architectural codes, you cannot build at all.

These restrictions are for reasons of aesthetics. Others are for more profound reasons of common decency and respect for the sacred. No commercial tower over Gettysburg, no convent at Auschwitz — and no mosque at Ground Zero.

Build it anywhere but there.

Read the whole thing.

Sure, Feisal Abdul Rauf and his mysterious backers have ever legal right to build a mosque near Ground Zero, but why would they want to? If their goal is a gesture of interfaith goodwill, you can clearly tell from the reaction that that excuse isn’t going to even remotely fly. So why are they, so far, insisting on building a mosque at this particular location? It’s because building a mosque this close to Ground Zero is, straight up, a monument to the Islamic victory on 9/11, in your face infidels! Don’t believe that? Google Dar al-Islam/Dar al-Harb.

/and, if the Islamists insist on pressing forward with this inflammatory provocation, big heaping piles of shame on any New York union worker who lifts one finger to help further this travesty along

Iran protests intensify, prompting state of emergency in Isfahan

Iran security forces and opposition protesters stepped up clashes on Wednesday in the city of Isfahan, the birthplace of Iran’s top dissident cleric, Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri. Montazeri’s death this past weekend, and the rituals marking his passing, coincide with a new push by regime opponents during a 10-day religious commemoration.

The government has responded by harassing two reformist clerics who could replace Montazeri, as well as stripping the opposition’s top political figure – Mir Hossein Mousavi – of his sole official post.

In Isfahan, pro-regime basiji militiamen used batons, chains, and stones to beat mourners who gathered at the city’s main mosque to remember Montazeri, the spiritual mentor of the Iranian opposition, whose websites reported the clashes.

“While people were reciting the Quran [in the mosque], plainclothed forces attacked them and threw tear gas into the mosque yard and sprayed those inside with pepper spray after they closed the doors,” reported the reformist Parlemannews. “They severely beat the people inside,” then doused the clerical speaker with pepper spray and arrested him.

“Tens of thousands gathered outside for the memorial but were savagely attacked by security forces and the basijis,” witness Farid Salavati told the Associated Press. He said that dozens were injured as riot police and vigilantes clubbed and kicked men and women alike – some in the face – and arrested 50 people who had gathered to mourn the grand ayatollah.

Montazeri – the chosen successor of Iran’s first supreme leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, until a falling out in 1989 – had been unrelenting in his criticism of the officially declared reelection of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last June, as well as of Iran’s current Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

“Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is invalid,” protesters shouted on Wednesday, referring to violence since June, in which severe force has been used against Iranians who marched to reverse the official result. They wanted to see the “Green Movement” presidential candidate, Mr. Mousavi, elected. Scores died in June and thousands were arrested; protests have flared repeatedly around the nation since then.

In Isfahan, the clashes on Wednesday portend more violence, as protesters and pro-government forces alike prepare for the religious peak of the Shiite calendar, Ashura, which falls on Sunday. By the end of the day on Wednesday, it was reported that the governor had announced a state of emergency and reportedly called in the military for help.

“The regime has no alternative but to try to block the commemorations of Grand Ayatollah Montazeri, because it has been state policy to demote him,” says Mehrdad Khonsari of the Center for Arab and Iranian Studies in London. “But given the events of the last six months, this only aggravates the situation [and] becomes a catalyst for more protests and is counter-productive.

“Every demonstration is a dress rehearsal for the next demonstration. Once Ashura is over next week, there will be more demonstrations,” says Mr. Khonsari. “The fact is there is no likelihood that these protests are going to come to an end anytime soon.”

It looks like this coming weekend might be shaping up as the largest nationwide Iranian opposition protest yet and, judging by recent events, it could also be the bloodiest. I can only hope, especially after reading this, that all the Green Movement pain won’t be in vain and these protests eventually reach the point of no return, critical mass, the overthow of the Iranian mullahs, regime change.
