Another, day, another country, more Dar al-Harb, the Religion of Murder and Mayhem rampages on.

At least 69 dead in north Nigeria sect attacks

Residents fearfully left their homes Saturday to bury their dead in northeast Nigeria following a series of coordinated attacks that killed at least 69 people and left a new police headquarters in ruins, government offices burned and symbols of state power destroyed.

A radical Muslim sect known locally as Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the attacks in Borno and Yobe states, with the worst damage done in and around the city of Damaturu. The group also promised to continue its bloody sectarian fight against Nigeria’s weak central government, with residents nervously moving through empty streets, waiting for the next attack.

Boko Haram wants to implement strict Shariah law across Nigeria, an oil-rich nation of more than 160 million which has a predominantly Christian south and a Muslim north. Its name means “Western education is sacrilege” in the local Hausa language, but instead of schooling, it rejects Western ideals like Nigeria’s U.S.-styled democracy that followers believe have destroyed the country with corrupt politicians.

Firebomb hits French satire magazine

The offices of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical weekly French magazine, have been burnt down in a firebomb attack on the same day that it published a special edition entitled “Charia [Sharia] Hebdo” with the Prophet Muhammad depicted as editor-in-chief.

The paper’s website was also brought down by hackers in what staff believe was retaliation for the publication, which “celebrated” the victory of an Islamist political party in the recent Tunisian elections and the promise from Libya’s interim leader that Sharia law would be the principal source of legislation in the country. The magazine’s front page carried a large picture of the prophet, which is forbidden in Islam, with the caption: “100 lashes if you are not dying of laughter”.

Free speech is a basic tenet of a free society and satire is a subset of free speech, including the right to satirize religion. Of course, there is no freedom of speech in Islam, under Sharia law, which would be fine if they kept to themselves and Muslims, driven by the basic mandates of their religion, weren’t continuously attempting to conquer and impose their beliefs and values on, often by violent means, the infidels of Western civilization.

/so, until Muslims, as a society, collectively decide to leave the 7th century, reform their religion, and catch up with the 21st century, Islam and Western civilization will never mix, because us infidels refuse to time travel backward in terms of freedom and world history

Open Season On Christians In Egypt

With Mubarak no longer in power to keep the social lid on, Egypt’s Muslim majority is doing what it does best, practicing their religion of peace and tolerance by attacking and killing Christians and burning down their churches.

Christians: Egypt allows attacks

Egypt’s Coptic church blasted authorities Monday for allowing repeated attacks on Christians with impunity as the death toll from a night of rioting rose to 26, most of them Christians staging a peaceful protest in Cairo over an attack on a church.

The spiritual leader of the Coptic Christian minority, Pope Shenouda III, declared three days of mourning, praying and fasting for the victims, starting today. He also presided over funerals for some of the Christians who were killed. Sunday’s sectarian violence was the worst in Egypt since the uprising that ousted President Hosni Mubarak in February.

The clashes Sunday night raged over a large section of downtown Cairo and drew in Christians, Muslims and security forces. The violence began when about 1,000 Christian protesters tried to stage a peaceful sit-in outside the government-run television building along the Nile in downtown Cairo. The protesters said they were attacked with sticks, and the violence then spiraled out of control after a speeding military vehicle jumped onto a sidewalk and hit some of the Christians.

There was no breakdown available of how many Christians and Muslims were among the victims, but the 26 are believed to be mostly Christian. Officials said at least three soldiers were among the dead. Nearly 500 people were injured. Egypt’s official news agency said dozens have been arrested.

Remember, Obama and Hillary Clinton publicly called for Mubarak’s ouster and hailed the Egyptian “revolution” as an exercise in free democracy. Well, how’s that working out?

The Libyan Transitional National Council (TNC) has issued a draft of a new constitution which has Islamic law as its foundation.

According to the document issued by the TNC, Islam will be the state religion and the principal source of legislation will be the sharia (Islamic law).

Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Libya, three countries the United States has made safe for the constitutional dominance of Islamic law through force of arms. These are also three countries where Christians are routinely persecuted and killed just for being Christians living under Muslim rule.

And then there’s Egypt, where the U.S. encouraged the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak and downplayed the possibility of the Muslim Brotherhood gaining power. Well, now Egyptian elections are coming up soon and it looks like the Muslim Brotherhood will, indeed, dominate the next government of Egypt. While Mubarak was in power, Egypt was Israel’s strongest partner in Middle East peace. Now, after Mubarak, the majority of Egyptians are calling for an abrogation of the peace treaty with Israel, weapons are being freely smuggled to Hamas through Egypt, and terrorist attacks are being launched against Israel from Egyptian soil.

/is this the type of “democracy” and “freedom” the United States is looking to spread throughout the Middle East region?

In Iran, and most other Muslim countries, you can freely practice any religion you want without repercussions, as long as it’s Islam.

Iranian Pastor Could Face Death

The former pastor of a network of Christian house churches in Iran has been told to exchange his faith for his life, according to news reports and human rights groups.

“We are dismayed over reports that the Iranian courts are requiring Youcef Nadarkhani to recant his Christian faith or face the death penalty for apostasy,” wrote U.S. Department of State Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland in a recent press statement.

Mr. Nadarkhani was arrested in his home city of Rasht on October 13, 2009 while attempting to register his church after protesting compulsory Islamic religious instruction in Iranian public schools. Christian Solidarity Worldwide, a human rights group, reports that he was originally charged with protesting, however, the charges against the 32-year-old convert to Christianity were later changed to apostasy and evangelizing Muslims.

Whitewashing The Jihad

So, the Park Police find Yonathan Melaku lurking near the Pentagon and he tells them that he’s carrying explosives. When they search Melaku’s car, the police find written material sympathetic to al Qaeda. What little tidbit of information is missing from almost every mainstream media news account? The fact that Yonathan Melaku is a Muslim is systematically omitted. Why might that be?

Losing His Religion

There was a terror scare at the Pentagon this morning. As CBS News reports, it started when the U.S. Park Police “came upon” 22-year-old Yonathan Melaku wandering around Arlington National Cemetery, which was closed. “The Park Police then launched a search for a vehicle, which was found near the Pentagon.”

A search of the car turned up “no suspicious items,” but Melaku told the cops “that he was carrying explosive materials.” They checked his backpack and “found what appeared to be an unknown quantity of ammonium nitrate,” a chemical “that is widely used in fertilizers and can be used in explosives with the correct concentration.”

We learn from the CBS story that Melaku is a lance corporal in the Marine Reserves. The Associated Press adds that he is a naturalized American citizen, originally from Ethiopia. CBS also reports that “Melaku was carrying a notebook that contained the phrases ‘al Qaeda,’ ‘Taliban rules’ and ‘Mujahid defeated croatian forces’ when he was detained,” but “that the suspect is not thought to have been involved in a terrorist act or plot.”

All of which raises an obvious question–but one that goes unanswered in the reports from CBS and AP, as well as others from ABC News and the Washington Post. We could only find one news organization that had the answer: Fox News Channel, which reports that Maliku is Muslim.

Al Qaeda is a Muslim terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of Western civilization. Virtually all terrorism worldwide is carried out by Muslims. Yonathan Melaku is found near the Pentagon, carrying “explosives” and written material referencing al Qaeda, and yet every single news organization, save one, blatantly ignores the fact that Melaku is a Muslim. How is that fact not relevant to the strory?

If Melaku had been a Christian, you can bet your ass that it would be first paragraph, front page news. When does news journalism become agenda driven, politically correct propaganda and deliberately biased misinformation? Perhaps the bigger question is why the news organizations engage in this deception by omission, what drives it, is it coordinated and, if so, by who or what and on what level and for what purpose?

All He Wanted For Christmas Was Jihad

Anyone see what the problem is here? Antonio Martinez was a normal, peaceful young adult . . . until he converted to Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Hussain. Then he suddenly became a hate filled jihadi monster, obsessed with killing infidels, in other words, a typical, devout Muslim.

Man charged in bomb plot appeared to drift into Islamic extremism

Not so long ago, the young man accused of plotting to blow up a military recruiting station in Catonsville had a mundane job: selling children’s clothes at Columbia Mall.

When he was hired as a sales associate about a year ago, Antonio Martinez was polite, hardworking — and a newly baptized Christian, a former co-worker recalled Wednesday. He seemed like a typical young adult working a typical retail job.

Then one day he surprised co-workers by declaring that he had converted to Islam.

“Within a few weeks he has a floor mat down in the back room praying to Mecca, telling us he’s going to a mosque and converting to Islam,” the former colleague said. She insisted on anonymity because she is not authorized by her employer to speak publicly and because she fears for her family’s safety.

The sudden change of faith is among the many mysteries surrounding Martinez, 21, who is also known as Muhammad Hussain. He was charged Wednesday with attempting to detonate what he thought was a vehicle bomb at the Armed Forces Career Center in the 5400 block of Baltimore National Pike.

For reasons that remain shrouded, federal authorities say Martinez not only embraced Islam recently but grabbed hold of a radical interpretation of the religion — one that exalts violence against adherents of other faiths as a righteous path to glory.

Why is it that all the miscreants that get caught trying to blow up their fellow Americans turn out to be Muslims? Nevermind, that was a rhetorical question, Islam is a bloody, murderous, misogynistic religion, stuck in the 7th century, that commands its adherents to kill.

The Religion Of Pure Evil

Here we go again, back to the 7th century. It’s bad enough that these perpetually angry, ignorant and intolerant Islamic barbarians sentenced a women to death by stoning, for adultery, now they’ve sentenced a woman to death for blasphemy. Just how backward and uncivilized can a religion get?

Christian woman sentenced to death in Pakistan for blasphemy

A mother of two has become the first Christian woman in Pakistan to be sentenced to death for blasphemy.

Asia Bibi, a field labourer in her thirties, was handed the sentence by a court of sessions in Punjab province on Sunday evening.

She was found guilty of committing blasphemy against her fellow farm workers in the village of Ittanwali during a heated discussion about religion in June last year.

Some of the women workers had reportedly been pressuring Bibi to renounce her Christian faith and accept Islam. During the discussion, Bibi responded by speaking of how Jesus had died on the cross for the sins of mankind and asking the Muslim women what Muhammad had done for them.

The Muslim women took offence and began to beat Bibi and she was locked in a room by some men. According to partners of Release International, a mob reportedly formed and “violently abused” her and her children.

The charity, which supports persecuted Christians, said that blasphemy charges had been brought against Bibi because of pressure from local Muslim leaders.

Release International’s chief executive, Andy Dipper, expressed his shock at Sunday’s ruling.

“Pakistan has crossed a line in passing the death sentence on a woman for blasphemy,” he said.

Terror warning puts U.S. travelers overseas on alert

Few U.S. travelers say they’re canceling trips to Europe because of a new terror alert. But some say they’ll be on their guard.

The travel alert from the State Department on Sunday warns of possible acts of terrorism by al-Qaeda and other organizations, particularly on public transportation and at tourist attractions.

On Monday, Japan and Sweden issued similar advisories. And Britain has warned that France and Germany are dealing with a “high threat of terrorism.”

Can you just imagine what would happen if radical Christians started plotting and threatening to attack major cities in Muslim countries? The barbarity that is Sharia law strikes again, this time in Afghanistan, administered Taliban style.

Earlier today, on the cusp of the second decade of the twenty-first century, the Afghan Taliban treated the world to a display of Islamic (Sharia) law. They proudly sentenced two human beings to be publicly stoned to death by a mob of two hundred men who were only too happy to do so, a mob which included the relatives of both victims as well as bystanders galore.

The couple’s crime was that of loving each other and wanting to marry. However, the woman refused to marry the relative to whom she had already been promised. Thus, they had both rebelled against cultural, tribal, and religious expectations.

The couple, 25-year-old Khayyam and 19-year-old Siddiqa ran away. Both were lured back home by relatives who promised them that permission would be granted for them to marry. It was a ruse. Once back, they were subjected to Afghan Islamic justice, Taliban-style and were stoned to death. Siddiqa was forced to wear her burqa to her execution.
